Actually the ONE negative is from a buyer who tried to make him ship an auction, or appears that way...

yeah, the seller sounded screwy to me. unless you live within 150 miles of him it's a huge tease. just put the crap on craigslist. and like goodwill says sounds like he's fishing.
That seller is a complete and total flake and should be banned from ebay.
His MO is to fake poor/broken English, and post deceptive pics and descriptions that don't agree with each other. You'll never really be sure what exactly is being sold, and i wager that is actually subject to change right up to the moment you might ever actually receive anything or be able to come to terms with him.

I've exchanged a few emails with him. It seems he wants to go there, see what you want and make a deal. It's only a 45 minute ride for me, but I can't seem to find a weekend afternoon that I have nothing better to do. He does have a whole bunch of Altec gear.
